I get accused of not paying attention to my career all the time by my friends. I’m not crazy about using my Blog to pimp myself out, but once in a while never hurts, does it?
Besides, I’m proud of this one.
Back in Chicago there’s an organization that saved my life when I was first diagnosed. They asked me to do an interview for them, and I gladly accepted.
Now I suddenly feel as if I’d taken all my clothes off.

Great interview, I think it's wonderful for people to have an organization like TPAN when you REALLY need it. Seriously, talking things out and getting support from others who understand and are facing the same issues as you (no matter what it is, depression, alcoholism, being the parent of an autistic child, etc..) can literally be a lifesaver. I am very happy TPAN was there for you and continues to be there for others.
Great interview...

and second... I like when you're pimping it out in your livejournal! Besides, it's for a good cause. I found myself nodding throughout the whole interview. I wish there were more positive people out there telling the kids that just because there's treatment now doesn't mean you can be careless about safe-sex.
and the part about marriage and the whole birth certificate thing... that would have been priceless! Hopefully, our children will live in a world where they can marry the ones they love without having to suffer through institutionalized bigotry in addition to all the prejudices we have to endure.
I'm still waiting to hear about MAVIS...Alex, you have my number. *wink*
